Wanted: Alberg Dinghy Restoration Services

Looking for a skilled Alberg expert with the skills to restore an Alberg 8 to its orginal configuration. The boat was purchased in the early 1970s in Moody Maine at a yard sale. I’ve had it since the 1970s, and sailed it on the Oqunquit River many years. It has been stored for the last couple of decades, and the hull needs major wood and a fiberglass work. I have all the original parts – seats, mast, sails, dagger board and rudder. Everything but the hull was stored inside, so the rest of the parts and sail are all in good condition.

Here are some pictures show the boat, as it was, and the hull as it is today.

Sailing Years Ago!

The boat is currently located in Ogunquit, Maine, but I am willing to transport it as needed to locations within driving distance.

I am primarily interested in having it restored for myself, but I would consider selling it to someone who would restore it for their own use.

ALBERG 37's WANTED

I'm looking to cruise the world for a couple years and I can't think of any boat I would rather do it on then an Alberg 37. I'm not looking for a project boat so ideally it's ready to go but I'm also not afraid to put in a little work if that's what it takes. The catch, I'm in California, so I'm only looking on the west coast. If you have or know of an A37 on the west coast in reasonable condition I would love for you to email me at trevor@ellermann.net. Thanks!
