Bram, The specs for the yawl standing rigging are located on the A-37 web site under the "Project Database" page - go to that page then click on "Standing rigging" under the "Sails and Rigging" subtitle. The uppers are 1x19 1/4" x 31' 3", and the 1x19 3/16" x 18' 0". (Take the lengths with a grain of salt - use your old ones to measure). Regarding the repair of chainplates, there have been a few boats that have had them replaces (the wood rots). I'm on cruise now (checking email etc. at pub. library), but I think this was written up in one of the newsletters. When I get back home, I'll try to look it up for you. tom
