The MK II has a fiberglass toe rail instead of wood...actually more like a small bulwark w/ a wood cap-rail. It has a molded in dodger splash guard in the deck. It also has (usually)a long fixed port light w/ 3 opening small port lights as opposed to 5 opening port lights. It also has a fiberglass pan liner which was said to make the boat stiffer and cut down on production time. The MK II interior has a larger head and galley and I beleive longer births in the main cabin. I have heard that the v-birth in the Mk I may be slightly larger.
