Possibly may add SSB to our 1975 yawl. Would like to know if any yawls out there have SSB, and how you arranged the antenna. I could go with the upper backstay (down to where the backstay splits), but on our rig, we have a backstay tensioner (small plate/tackle with double sheaves) - that tightens the backstay by drawing down on the split backstays - drawing them together and thereby increasing backstay tension. Has anyone used a 23' whip antenna? Suggestions welcome. Thanks,
