Slide 2 of 14
Notes:
After many hours standing at the wheel on long passages I resolved to design a comfortable helm seat. The constantradius allows me to always have a comfortable position regardless of heel. The frame is made of padauk, the slats are tulipwood and it rests on teak strips fastened to the cockpit locker lids. It is in three pieces and comes apart foreasy storage.
The cockpit floor is in three pieces and is made of iroko (a wood much like teak but much less expensive). Also note the lovely big teak side coamings and storage bins on the Mark I A37's.
